On August 16th, Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres were married in a very, very small and private ceremony at their home. There were only 19 people in attendance so I forgive them for not sending me an invite as well, though I really do think I should have been there. The couple wrote their own vows and, for those who care about designers, both wore Zac Posen and exchanged Neil Lane rings. And from these fuzzy pictures I think they both looked gorgeous. So belated congratulations!
The less great part:
CNN posted this pathetic announcement. They removed the offensive quotation marks after a large number of complaints, but never bothered to fix Portia de Rossi's name.
