Daniel Radcliffe Defends Michael Sam

Daniel Radcliffe may not be queer but he's still awesome in my books.  I love him even more now for sticking up for Michael Sam.  He points out how unfair the draft was to the openly gay player.
I think it’s fucking awesome. It’s fantastic that he’s got a team. It’s horrendous that he slipped to 249 after being the SEC defensive player of the year. People can say whatever they like about his athleticism, or not fitting the bill for certain conditions or whatever, but the fact is no player in the last six years to win that award has been drafted lower than 16th overall, I think. So it’s sad that that was an issue. But I think he’s amazing, frankly. In interviews, at no point does he allow himself to be portrayed as a victim or someone who deserves extra sympathy. He’s brilliant at shutting that down. I think everybody else just hopes he does fucking brilliantly this year, and that there’s going to be a list of quarterbacks who got sacked by a gay defensive end.
He also comments on the haters that were so upset about Michael Sam kissing his boyfriend on television.
My favorite comments online were the ones that said, “I don’t mind him being gay, but I don’t want to see him kiss his boyfriend.” Well, you kinda do mind, then. Also, I presume Michael Sam told the world he was gay so that when he was drafted he could do that without having to fucking think about it or hide it. And I think that’s a fantastic thing. Hopefully Michael Sam’s taking the plunge for everyone who will come after him.

First Look at Kill Your Darlings

I think this will be a great movie.  It's interesting hearing Daniel Radcliffe with an American Accent.

Daniel Radcliffe Surprising Gay Scenes

The movie Kill Your Darlings is based on a real murder and Radcliffe plays poet Allen Ginsberg, who is smitten with the killer, Lucien Carr. Apparently when the film showed Friday during the Sundance Film Festival the crowd was pretty surprised with the gay scenes.  Excellent.

Daniel Radcliffe Doesn't Mind Gay Sex Scenes

I'm pretty impressed with Daniel Radcliffe lately. He has made previous comments about having no problem with having transgender friends and now he says he is not bothered at all with his gay love scenes in his new movie. He is in New York filming Kill Your Darlings and he seems to have no issues playing a queer characterl:
There was no discomfort. There have been moments when Dane, the object of my affection in the film, and I did start giggling.

Ryan Gosling is Daniel Radcliffe's Kind of Guy

I love when straight men are completely open and supportive. Daniel Radcliffe, much to my dismay, is not gay but stated if he was Ryan Gosling would be his type. The man has good taste.
There is that moment in your late teens when you ask yourself the question, ‘Am I?’ but I wasn’t. Well, this year I have a talent crush on Ryan Gosling. I think he’s fantastic and, ahem, you know he’d be nice afterwards. He seems smart. If I was gay, I would go for a smart man.

Daniel Radcliffe Comes Out

He's not gay but Daniel Radcliffe does cover the front of the September issue of Out magazine. He is a huge queer supporter and gives a pretty sweet interview. I'm a little creeped out by the picture but maybe that's what they were going for. Here's a sample of what he had to say:

I grew up in a world where I was aware of gay and transgender culture from a very young age, because I was brought up with a real mix of people around me. And people who have a huge, different range of experiences. But not everyone grows up in the same circumstances.
