The king of blogging Perez Hilton was recently interviewed and went over what it's like to be a single gay dad.  I honestly don't think I could do it but I have problems keeping house plants alive.

The joy of being a single dad is getting the love of my son every single day… and the biggest challenge is I put more guilt and pressure on myself because I am his only parent. As a result, my life completely revolves around him. What will make him happiest. And that includes me not being away or traveling as much as I used to. I still have to take the occasional work trip, but we have never been apart longer than two days.

Iggy Azalea and Azealia Banks just can not seem to get along. This is the latest response from Iggy to Azealia claiming that she is 'seriously trivializing aspects of black culture', during a magazine interview.  The nails are really coming out....

Azealia Banks Trashy Twitter Battle

Rappers Angel Haze and Azealia Banks have been in a ugly Twitter battle this week, with both throwing shots at one another.  It originally started when Banks tweeted "Seriously, if you were not born and raised in NY.... DON'T CLAIM NY. YOU ARE NOT A NEW YORKER." The Michigan-born Haze, who released her music video "New York" this summer, took offense and fired back at Banks.  It just kept getting more and more dramatic and then Perez Hilton sided with Haze. He started tweeting at Banks, calling her thirsty, pathetic and hungry.  Banks got pissed off and called Hilton a messy faggot.  She is backtracking now put refusing to apologize to Hilton. Her reasoning is she claims faggot does not mean a gay male, it just means a male who asks like a female...is this idiot for real? She goes on to call Hilton a meddling unpleasant bitch.  Wow, this woman screams trash.  Banks is openly bi-sexual but that doesn't give her the right to be an asshole.

Blogger queen Perez Hilton will appear on Ellen DeGeneres’s show Wednesday to announce that he’s turning over a new leaf and backing away from bullying celebrities. All I can say is WTF. Seriously buddy, that's how you became famous and you can't change it. He says it's because of the It Gets Better campaign that he wants to become a better person. Whatever attention whore, there's a big difference between bullying someone because they're gay than for being a celebrity. Hmmm, maybe this means our viewers will increase.....I've changed my mind. Perez Can't Even Buy Gay Friends Right Now

After Perez Hilton was punched by Will.i.am's manager (which was provoked by Perez calling him a faggot. Yeah.) Perez decided to sue the dude. Having been called out by GLADD for his use of homophobic slurs, Perez defended his statement, but seemed to want to make up for it. Perez posted on his website that he intended to donate the proceeds of his lawsuit to the Matthew Shepard Foundation. The problem? They don't want it. Judy Shepard released a statement stating that the foundation had never been contacted about this matter and that they would not accept the money regardless:

But because the lawsuit presumably involves the physical attack prompted by Mr. Hilton's admitted use of an anti-gay slur, the Foundation will be unable to accept any funds obtained in such a manner. ... because so much of our work involves education to reduce the use of hateful language against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, or those so perceived, it would be inappropriate for us to benefit financially from circumstances in which such a verbal attack was involved.

I thought it was beyond ridiculous that Perez twittered for people to call the cops in the first place when this happened. He was so widely ridiculed, that you'd think maybe this time he'd maybe call around before he made this sort of announcement. I never think violence is ok, but I can't honestly say I feel sorry for this guy, either. I'd want to punch someone who used a homophobic slur against me, too.

STATEMENT FROM MATTHEW SHEPARD FOUNDATION REGARDING PEREZHILTON.COM

The Matthew Shepard Foundation was surprised to learn this morning via media reports that blogger Perez Hilton (Mario Lavandeira) has announced he plans to donate, to our organization, the proceeds of a lawsuit he is contesting over an altercation which has been widely reported in recent days.

We had no advance notice or contact from Mr. Hilton or his representatives regarding this proposal, nor any communication since he posted this plan to his website.

We do not know the details of the lawsuit, whether it has been filed, the nature of his claims or the likely outcome. But because the lawsuit presumably involves the physical attack prompted by Mr. Hilton's admitted use of an anti-gay slur, the Foundation will be unable to accept any funds obtained in such a manner.

We very much appreciate the generosity of the offer to support our continuing work to memorialize Matthew through activism in defense of sexual minorities and in favor of understanding, compassion, and acceptance. But because so much of our work involves education to reduce the use of hateful language against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, or those so perceived, it would be inappropriate for us to benefit financially from circumstances in which such a verbal attack was involved.

While we applaud Mr. Hilton's apology to the LGBT community and their loved ones for his use of such a slur, we also feel compelled to point out that use of epithets can often lead to physical violence, as it appears it may have in this case, and that the Matthew Shepard Foundation has worked for more than 10 years to bring to people's attention the consequences of hateful or intolerant language.

Perez Hilton Attacked

Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton is alleging that the Black Eyed Peas manager Polo Molina assaulted him at an after party following the Much Much Video Awards last night in Toronto. Apparently, a member of the band Will I Am wasn't impressed with Perez blogging negative things on his website and confronted him about it. He demanded for Perez to respect him and 'got all up in his face' at a club. In turn, Perez called him a faggot and says that he got his manager to punch Perez in the face outside the club (notice the small cut underneath his eye). I've watched both videos describing the event and all I can think is Perez couldn't behave more like an attention hungry queen. I hope if he was attacked by Will I Am that justice is served but from my point of view his behavior was pre pubescent.

Samantha Ronson Pays the Bill

Samantha Ronson has finally paid the $87, 000 in legal fees she owed to Perez Hilton. She had filed a defamation suit against Perez when he wrote that she owned the coke in Lindsay's car after Lindsay's arrest in May, 2007. She lost the suit and was ordered to pay Hilton's legal fees in January, but never got around to it. KNBC reports:

By turning over a cashier's check for $86,832, Ronson avoids a hearing that was scheduled Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, in which the club deejay would have had to answer questions about her ability to pay for Hilton's award.

The picture is one of many, many pictures taken of Lindsay and Sam in Los Cabos, Mexico where they've been on vacation. They have more bathing suits on that one trip than I've owned in my entire life. I suppose if you can afford to pay $87K to Perez Hilton you can afford a few new swimsuits as well...

Samantha Ronson Can't Sue Perez

Samantha Ronson tried and failed to sue blogger Perez Hilton for the second time. Ronson initially tried to sue Perez for defamation after he said that Samantha planted the drugs found in Lindsay's car way back when. Ronson had tried again, claiming that her lawyer had mishandled file her do-over motion and that the suit failed to present any new information this time around.

Tough luck, Sam. But really, even if she had nothing to do with the drugs in Lindsay's car, what kind of gossip would you expect in her shoes?
