Big Surprise....Lesbian Sex Sells

Natalie Portman was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly magazine and she discussed how they planned on getting men to see the ballet film, Black Swan: 

Everyone was so worried about who was going to see this movie. I remember being like, 'How do you get guys to a ballet movie? How do you get girls to a thriller? The answer is a lesbian scene. Everyone wants to see that.

Her answer is not surprising because all you have to do is look at previous films with lesbian content. Every straight man was drooling to see Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci in the movie Monster.  It is just another way to sell movies and I do not think it will be changing anytime soon.  That being said, I have a personal bias towards lesbians and hope they keep adding them whenever possible.  Don't act surprised, you were thinking the same thing.

Mila Talks About Lesbian Sex Scene

Mila Kunis has been talking about her lesbian sex scene with Natalie Portman in the upcoming Black Swan, and says that despite how much fun it looks like the two are having on screen, the whole process of filming is difficult. I don't really care how bad it is, I would take one for the team! Here's what she has to say:

We knew it was going to attract attention. We were just hoping that people would walk away after seeing the movie not just isolating in their memory that scene when we have sex. I think it's important to the story. It wasn't done for shock value, but we weren’t looking forward to it. I don't think we were laughing between takes. I think we were like, ‘Let's just get this over with.’ It's uncomfortable doing a sex scene. It's just bizarre. Luckily, we were friends, so we were able to get through it. I feel sorry for my dad though. If I'm not mistaken, he walked out during the sex scene in Black Swan. I just don't think he wants to envision his daughter doing that kind of thing. I'm not sure if he's going to be able to see Friends with Benefits. He'll be leaving the theater a lot. I think I might have to ban him.

Portman & Kunis Need Liquid Courage

Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis did a few shots of tequila to prepare for their kissing scene in The Black Swan. In the movie, Portman plays a New York City ballet dancer who becomes more and more upset when a rival dancer Kunis arrives on the scene. They say they were worried it would make their friendship awkward, so they opted for liquid courage. You know what they say.....tequila makes her clothes come off.....just saying.

The movie Black Swan a psychological thriller set in the ballet world and is due out this December. The trailor has been released on the Internet and Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis play rival ballerinas vying for the lead in Swan Lake. Kunis’s character tries to make life hell for Portman’s character. The two actresses also seem to steam up the screen with some locked lips and fingers crossed for way more.
