I'm not sure why Boy George has chosen to be such a douche. George Michael's partner Fadi Fawaz claimed his Twitter was hacked and he never posted that it was a suicide. Boy George replied:

Boy Banned (Damn, I'm Funny!)

Boy George may not be doing that American tour after all. It seems that he has been denied a visa. His comments:

I'm pretty devastated because I am so excited about this forthcoming tour and having my visa application denied seems unfair after I swept the streets of New York spotless. There are a number of public figures who are openly using drugs and they have no problem with immigration and I have seriously turned my life around and I feel great right now and this is just another reminder of how bad things were. I committed a crime and I happily paid the consequences and I should be allowed to move on and get on with what I do best and that is performing and making people people dance and cry!

Maybe he'll get this all figured out in time.

Boy George Gives Back

Boy George has announced that he will be performing a free concert for his fellow "co-workers" at the Department of Sanitation's Family Day on Aug. 17. Boy George was made to sweep city streets for community service two years ago after pleading guilty to reporting a false burglary. George wants to give a little something back for the kindness he received whilst sweeping with the other cons:

The people I worked alongside showed great kindness to me at a very difficult time, and I wanted to thank them all in a way that would show my appreciation.

It seems that Boy George is going to be touring North America. He hasn't done that for a long, long time. But I'm wondering, what demographic would be going to Boy George concerts? When I walk past the arena by my place I like to look at the people outside smoking and try to guess what event is going on. What would the smokers look like for this concert? I want to see!
