Boy George has announced that he will be performing a free concert for his fellow "co-workers" at the Department of Sanitation's Family Day on Aug. 17. Boy George was made to sweep city streets for community service two years ago after pleading guilty to reporting a false burglary. George wants to give a little something back for the kindness he received whilst sweeping with the other cons:
The people I worked alongside showed great kindness to me at a very difficult time, and I wanted to thank them all in a way that would show my appreciation.
Isn't that sweet.
