Elton John Marries David Furnish

The couple have been together for 20 years and finally tied the knot near Windsor Castle in England.  They have been in a civil union for 9 years but now gay marriage has been passed into law and they took full advantage.  Elton posted this picture on his instagram of the ceremony. Their two sons attended along with an elite list of celebrities. I'm so happy for them.

Elton John Changes Mind on Gay Marriage

When proposition 8 was passed in 2008, Elton John said he wasn't a big fan of the word marriage, and that he and his partner David Furnish were happy not to get married. He was pretty clear on the fact that if gay people should be happy to be recognised as a civil partnership. Now he has changed his mind and had some nasty words for gay marriage opponents. Elton told the crowd at an equal rights fundraiser how pissed off he was at people responsible for stopping gay marriage and making him feel like a second class citizen. It's about time he changed his tune.

It seems so ridiculous I could be with my partner for 17 years and we have a son, and my partner and I can't get married. Fuck you.

Elton John Isn't Going to Help Make American Idol Gayer.

Much to my disappointment, Elton John's rep has said that Elton has no plans on taking Simon Cowell's place as an American Idol judge. I was pretty sure if we had both Elton and Ellen on board, the gays would be able to finally take over the entire world, but apparently Elton has other plans and, according to his rep, is busy until next year. Justin Timberlake also turned down the offer, but since he's only gay in my gay men's fantasies, he doesn't make it into the title of this post.

Elton John was offered 33 million for being the next judge on American Idol. I'm not sure if he was slotted to replace Simon Cowell for one year or more but that's a lot of cash. I love that they are slowly making the judges more gay. First with Ellen and now Elton, I'm liking this trend. The new judge won't be announced until after the May 26th finale.

The video was made by Neal Horsley from Georgia, who has now been arrested for making terroristic threats and is being held on a $40 000 bond. The video says that Elton John has to die and goes as far as to show one of his homes. It's so bad it doesn't even seem real. But some people take stupid to new levels. His son Nathan, for example, believed his father had been arrested because of the music he used in the video. The death threats apparently seems just fine to the family...
