Ellen Page & Julianne Moore in Freeheld

I am so excited to see this movie.  Julianne Moore has had an incredible career and this is far from her first gay positive film.  Her last amazing film being The Kids Are Alright, which tug at my heart strings.  Well, this one with Ellen Page is going to tear my heart apart.  I can't help but tear up just watching the trailer.

The Kids Are All Right Becoming HBO Show

HBO is in the works of creating a television series based on the Oscar nominated movie, The Kids Are All Right. I have mixed feelings about the movie but it was very well done. They haven't released if the same actors will star in the new show. The original cast includes lesbian couple Julianne Moore and Annette Bening, their children Mia Wasikowska and Josh Hutcherson and the sperm daddy Mark Ruffalo. I think this has the potential to be a great show but I'm fairly certain I will be yelling at the television when the story line turns the way I don't want it to go.

The Kids Are All Right - Oscar tonight?

This movie is about two lesbian parents whose kids have grown up and they are curious about their sperm donor father. If you haven't seen it already, you are really missing out. I'm not sure if this movie will win an oscar tonight but I am happy for once there's a movie about a normal gay family who aren't freaks or trying to change the world. Fingers crossed for some good news later.

Moore & Seyfriend Have Sex

Julianne Moore and Amanda Seyfried will be having a sex scene in the upcoming movie "Chloe", to be released in the United States March 18th. I couldn't find out how raunchy the scene is going to be but during the movie Seyfried does have a nude scene. Sadly, I don't think it is with with Moore but either way, I'm wanting to see this movie.

Moore & Bening Lesbian Moms

Bening and Moore are slated to play lesbian moms, Nic and Jules in the movie "The Kids are Alright". The donor father is going to be played by actor Mark Ruffalo. I haven't been able to confirm if this movie is a drama or a comedy but I'm guessing the latter. I couldn't imagine having either of these women as my mother and we will get to see them together! Hopefully, they won't cut out all the wonderful love scenes or try to tone them down for the general public. The writer/director for this movie is out lesbian Lisa Cholodenko, who also wrote and directed the lesbian drama "High Art".
