I honestly don't care in the slightest about the Super Bowl game itself. I apologize to any football fans out there but I'm not really sorry. What I am looking forward to is Lady Gaga performing at the half time show and the awesome commercials. Also, the food and friends that come along with the event.

I barely recognized Lady Gaga at the 2016 Super Bowl yesterday.  Not only did she look amazing, she totally rocked the American National Anthem.  She proved yet again how truly talented she is.

Gay NFL Star?

Could San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick be the first NFL star that comes out?  He apparently was seen getting close with openly gay circuit DJ Luis Perez at the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl party.  Although, when the first pictures went up of the two together they were taken down pretty quickly.  This makes me think he won't be coming out any time soon unless he is forced to.

Snickers 'Manly' Super Bowl Commercial

Ok, I know a lot of you won't agree with me but I think this commercial is hilarious.  In honour of the upcoming Super Bowl I thought I would re post it.  Yes, this ad screams homophobia but I think it's a good thing to air.  Maybe someone looking at this will realize how incredibly silly it is to have to behave 'manly'.  If that's not the case, hopefully it makes you giggle (even if you know it's wrong).

Brendon Ayanbadejo is Awesome

Brendon Avanbadejo is a staunch supporter of gay rights and is not afraid to voice his opinion despite facing huge criticism.  He plays in the NFL for the Ravens and they just recently won a spot in the Super Bowl.  His new push is focused on how he can speak out more for marriage equality and anti- bullying over the next couple of weeks to harness this Super Bowl media.  This guy deserves some recognition.  He says he dreams of dancing with Ellen on her show....I think he definitely deserves that dream to come true.

Instead of keeping his comments about the game, columnist Roland Martin decided to bash gay men. I'm thinking he is a sad and very jealous man. H&M had an incredibly sexy ad with David Beckham and Martin was so disgusted he tweeted to his followers:

Veggie Love

PETA’s Veggie Love commercial was denied during the Super Bowl last year and the animal rights cult is hoping a video of outtakes from that ad will make this year’s game. Don't get me wrong, I'm a vegetarian but PETA is ridiculous. My feelings aside, I do enjoy the veggie love but doubt anything too racy will be allowed to air.
