No need to worry, Nurse Jackie is keeping a regular gay character in season two. Stephen Wellam plays nurse Thor and will be returning as a regular. I think his sister Linda Wellam, who is co-creator, played a huge part in making sure he returns. Two reasons why this makes me happy: firstly his sister is a lesbian and secondly another queer role is secured for at least one more season!
