Canada is the Best Country Ever!
Every country should be jealous of Canada's gorgeous Prime Minister. Not only is he incredibly good looking, he is so incredibly accepting of the LGBT community. Here is Justin Trudeau posing for a Toronto Pride advertisement. I know you're drooling!!

Oilers Captain Making History
Ok, for once here is a hockey player who is actually good looking. Too many have been hit in the head one too many times. Andrew Ference is the Captain for the Edmonton Oilers and he is going to make history on Saturday. He will be the first Oiler to ever participate in Edmonton's pride parade. He is an advocate for You Can Play, hoping to eradicate homophobia in sports. I'm hoping he is gay but having him as an ally is also pretty awesome.

Facebook says it is celebrating Pride by adding free gay Mesenger stickers to the sticker store. Included are: two brides holding a cat, a football player and his boyfriend, a leatherman and his Chihuahua, a disco bunny, an AIDS/Life Cycle rider, and lots of different types of families. Queer Beer
The official beer of Winnipeg Pride is back! The best possible name for a beer ever, described as a pilsner with a fruity flavour. Most of you are probably wondering, where the hell is Winnipeg and how can I get this beer. Winnipeg is located in central Canada and the pride parade takes place on June 1st. Take an adventure up north and enjoy queer beer, you won't regret it. That is just me selling my home city.

Rob Ford Against Rainbow Flag Taken Down
Rob Ford is a huge embarrassment for the city of Toronto and he keeps opening his big mouth. His latest tirade is about the rainbow flag being flown at city hall and how he wants it ripped down. I'm not surprised because he has never shown up for a single Pride parade in Toronto during his time in power. I can not wait until Rob Ford is but a distant memory that we giggle at when we think of poor Toronto. On the other hand, the SNL skits and late night talk show hosts jabs at the moron are pretty hilarious.

Maple Leaf's Goalie to March in Pride Parade
Ben Scrivens is the back up goalie for the Toronto Maple Leafs and announced he will be marching in the Pride Parade in Toronto this June. He says it's a no-brainer when asked why he would march and the awesome part is the Leaf's organization totally back his decision. He is a huge supporter of the You Can Play project and hopes to promote acceptance of homosexuality in professional sport.

The Wanted and Backstreet Boys played in the London to celebrate the 42nd annual Gay Pride parade. I can only imagine how fantastic that party was. Before their sets, the groups posed for photos together backstage and Backstreet Boy Nick Carter tweeted:

Lucky Charms
General Mills is in full support of Gay Pride. They are using Lucky Charms to get their point across and have added some extra rainbow marshmallows. I think that is perfectly fitting.
We're celebrating Pride month with whimsical delight, magical charms, and two new rainbow marshmallows… If you're lucky enough to be different, we're celebrating you.

America's Got Talent Sad Story
Jonathan Allen was kicked out of the house at 18 for being gay. He says he has tried reaching out to his family with no luck and man, that must be hard. I really hope his family sees how well he does and possibly reevaluates their own beliefs. If anyone asks why the gays still want pride parades, they should listen to his story.

Nike Releases Gay Pride Shoe
I really hope Nike has stopped using child labour because I really love them. They have released a line of sneakers under its #BeTrue line, as a nod to gay pride and LGBT people. Profits of #BeTrue sales will go to the LGBT Sports Coalition, which has set the goal to end the practice of anti-LGBT discrimination in sport by 2016.
