The most gay friendly soap is calling it quits after 41 years. In 1983 All My Children had the first gay character on a soap opera and recently they had the first lesbian marriage. I'm not sure if this led to their demise but I'm hoping other soap operas pick up the slack and start including gay characters. I can just hear bi-curious housewives crying all over the world.
