I think these ladies are beautiful together and they have some exciting news they wanted to share.  They posted the oven picture on Instagram and it's pretty damn adorable.  Glory Johnson is expecting and it is their first child together.  I really hope they don't have any more run in's with each other that require police attendance....

The Real L Word Couple Pregnant

Kacy and Cori Boccumini are a couple on The Real L Word and were married in 2008.  They are now going to start a family and confirmed that they are expecting a baby on July 1.  They spent the last two years trying to get pregnant, after they lost their first child, Charlie, who passed away after being born premature.  Cori found out about a previously undiagnosed cervical condition too late in the process. Hopefully this baby will be healthy and the couple get the family they want.

Jillian Michaels Wants Prefers Adoption to Getting Fat.

Jillian Michael's raised some eyebrows when she told Women's Health that she'd rather adopt a kid than put her body through a pregnancy. She also said that she prefers the idea of rescuing a child to producing a new one, but no one wants to focus on that because it isn't controversial. There have been a lot of comments saying that her statements were irresponsible or indicative of a lack of self esteem, but I'm going to disagree with everyone. It's nice to hear someone just say the truth. Pregnancy does horrifying things to the body. For some people that doesn't matter, and good for them. But that's not everyone. Pregnancy does some terrible things to the wallet, too, and that's reason enough for some people. If you choose not to reproduce, your choice. I defend her choice and applaud her honesty.

Updates

So Prairiegrrl is away at the Olympics undoubtedly checking out all the hot, athletic bodies while I waste away at my demanding job. Which is my way of saying I suck for not posting and trying to divert blame. So here's what you missed the last while:
Sarah Silverman did an awesome interview where supporting same sex marriage. Watch the video (above). Very cool.

Casey Johnson died of a different ype of irresponsibility that we all suspected. It was uncontrolled diabetes, not an OD that ended her life so early.

It's been rumored that Sam Ronson has been smacking Lindsay Lohan around. I never support violence, but if you need to beat a Lohan, I'd suggest Michael instead. Much more satisfying.

Adam Lambert is Billboard's Sexiest Man in music.

Thomas Beatie, the trans man who has had a couple kids with his wife, is pregnant for the third time.

Lindsay Lohan is a hoarder and getting televised help for her mess.

Alexander McQueen commited suicide at age 40.

More to follow.

Pregnant Wives

So Iron Chef's Cat Cora is pregnant. And so is her wife, Jennifer. Cat Cora posted a bit from a piece by OK! Magazine on her myspace:

"Iron Chef's Cat Cora has a bigger surprise than the unveiling of her secret ingredient on her hit Food Network show; She's expecting her third--and fourth--sons! "It's really crazy!" the chef, 41, tells OK! Most unusual, Cat will give birth three months after her partner, Jennifer Cora, 37. "We decided that having them a year apart is harder than having kids as infants together," Cat says of their planned pregnancies. Their four children have the same sperm donor but Cat says," [Jennifer] carried my embryo amd I carried hers. It's like surrogating, but obviously all of our kids are equal."

I've always wanted to have kids like that if I can't adopt. Have my partner carry my egg or me carry hers. I wanted it so that I could be snarky when people asked who the biological mother was and tell them we both were. It has never, ever occurred to me that I might get knocked up at the same time as my partner. That seems both practical and entirely insane.

Congrats to Cat and Jennifer! I can't wait to see the baby pictures from these ones!

Clay Aiken Aims to Spawn Again

In Touch Weekly is saying that Clay and his friend, producer and mother of his future child Jaymes Foster have saved some sperm and eggs for future inseminations. Apparently they're hoping for twins this time around so that they won't have to go through the whole insemination thing again, but failing that they'll go for round two some time next year.

Thomas Beatie Update

This is the newest update about Thomas Beatie who is due to give birth to a daughter next month. I can't call the newscast outright disrespectful, but I have to say, it made me feel uncomfortable listening to the way they spoke about Thomas. Near the end of the clip they mention that the couple hasn't been shy about selling their story and photos, but it seems to imply that it's a cash grab more than a chance to secure income while bringing an important issue to the world. I mean, it could just as easily be a cash grab, I suppose, but that's never the focus when some straight celebrity sells the rights to her baby photos for millions of dollars.
