Maddie Comes Home For Parenthood Finale

I'm so sad this show has come to an end.  It has been one of my favourites for the past 6 years.  It made me so happy when Sarah Ramos' character Maddie came out to her parents last season.  Sadly, she was absent during the final season but I was happy to see her make an appearance in the last episode.  She didn't have her girlfriend with her but it wouldn't have been the same without her.

Lesbian Film Heartland

Heartland is a lesbian indie movie about a woman named Lauren who's girlfriend dies and she moves back to Oklahoma to be closer to her family.  Coincidentally, her brother also comes home and brings his fiancé who Lauren has an affair with.  The movie is still in production and trying to raise money by selling t-shirts and custom artwork.  It also has the support of big name actors like Sarah Paulson, Julia Stiles and Jeffrey Tambor.  It is suppose to come out (no pun intended) in 2015 and I'm hoping I get a chance to see it.
