Susan Sarandon Supports Son's Defiance of Gender Roles

Susan Sarandon is proud of her 23 year old son Miles Robbins because he colours outside of the lines when it comes to gender roles.  If only more parents would follow in her footsteps.

My son Miles is a musician and a DJ, and he has long hair. I think the more crayons you have in your box to colour outside the lines, the more exciting it is. As a mother, I know how difficult it is to survive the teenage years intact and the socialization process - if you step out of line, it's so difficult.
