Last month coach Bieste, played by Dot Marie Jones, came out as trans on Glee. This past episode showed him coming back to the high school after he transitioned. To celebrate Glee rounded up 200 trans people to complete a choir. That is pretty incredible. Previous trans character Unique, played by Alex Newell, also made an appearance to help Beiste deal with his transition. I love the positive attention this brings to the trans community along with the amazing support.
