Well, I can't say that I am surprised. I love Anderson Cooper but his talk show was really lacking and after only two seasons, the network has decided to cancel his show. I thought he may have a chance after coming out and his feud with Star Jones but it wasn't enough to grab more viewers.
I am very proud of the work that our terrific staff has put into launching and sustaining our show for two seasons. I am also grateful to [production company] Telepictures for giving me the opportunity, and indebted to viewers, who have responded so positively. I look forward to doing more great shows this season, and though I'm sorry we won¹t be continuing, I have truly enjoyed it.
