Sochi Russia will be hosting the 2014 summer Olympic games and sadly they announced that they will be banning the Pride House which started at the 2010 winter Olympics. This goes against the equality and non-discrimination provisions of the Olympic Charter but apparently that does not apply to Russia. The ban was upheld in the Russian courts with the judge saying a Pride House was propaganda of non-traditional sexual orientation that could incite social religious hatred.
