Gillian Anderson says she had multiple lesbian relationships in her life. Here is a good example of a woman who is confident with her sexuality. She says she didn't struggle the way many young people do today and that she is comfortable in her own skin. Her first lesbian relationship was in high school and it went from there.
If I had thought I was 100 percent gay, would it have been a different experience for me? Would it have been a bigger deal if shame had been attached to it and all those things that become huge life-altering issues for youngsters in that situation? It's possible that my attitude around it came, on some level, knowing that I still liked boys.
