Tim Allen has a new show called Last Man Standing and the first episode aired this week and it had the best debut ratings for a comedy in over seven years. With so many people watching something was bound to happen. He received some criticism for his character making the following possibly homophobic joke:
I just don’t think your kid should go to that school. You know how that ends up: Boyd dancing on a float.
This is Tim's response and I have to admit I see his point:
It wasn’t meant to be offensive. It was meant to be a reflection on this guy’s limited perspective.
