The final film in the Stieg Larsson book trilogy, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, will be hitting North American theatres at the end of October. It follows The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played With Fire. Sadly, the Swedish films are set to be remade for North American audiences by director David Fincher, and will star Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander and Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist. I have absolutely no faith that they will be anything worth watching.
