Straight Discrimination At Gucci

A former salesman at the Gucci’s store in New York City has filed a five million dollar lawsuit, charging that he was discriminated against because he is straight. The lawsuit was filed Thursday because Adolfo Mendez alleges that he was fired after he blew the whistle on sexual harassment from two managers at Gucci’s Fifth Avenue store. They kept insisting that Mendez, who is married to a woman, was gay. He says that he complained to human resources and was placed on administrative leave, then fired within two weeks. The managers accused are no longer working at the store either. This is a whole new spin on being discriminated against because of your sexual orientation.
