Manhattan's Fifth Avenue J.Crew store was surrounded on Sunday by protesters who accused the store of discriminating against transgender job applicants. According to a press release, a trans individual applied at a J. Crew store and was treated like shit, told to fill out an application and was never called. His testing partner, who entered the store a few minutes later, described a very different experience. They did the same test with different people a little while later and had the same treatment. I hope J.Crew loses some business from this so they stop being assholes.
