Rosie O'Donnell Will Never Go Away

Remember what I said about Lindsay Lohan? That if she was as persistent with her career as she is with her relationship with Sam she'd actually, you know, have a career? Rosie O'Donnell is living proof of that. Despite major flops like her variety show and a lack of talent, fashion sense and, well, anything that might enable someone to continue a career in Hollywood, Rosie is continuing to get jobs, the latest being a daily morning radio show for Sirius called Rosie Radio.

The show, which will air Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-noon ET (7-9 a.m. PT) on Sirius XM Stars, will mark the former talk show host's first return to the airwaves of any sort since her failed variety show last November and her dramatic exit from The View two years ago.

"This is an exciting new adventure—two hours of talk show entertainment, without having to wear makeup. Perfection," the outspoken Emmy winner said in a statement.

O'Donnell will be taking callers, chatting with celebrity guests and sharing her brand of humor as she discusses pop culture, parenthood, politics and the like.

This might actually work. I remember way back when she had a fairly successful talk show. I tried to watch it a couple of times, but honestly I could never get over looking at her. Her hair and clothes and makeup were bordering on painful. I'm not saying all women should femme up - Ellen does very well. I'm saying that there are styles other than femme or sweatpants. On the radio, maybe this won't be such a problem. (Hey, I'm being positive here!)
