Yesterday, among the people lining up to finally receive equal marriage rights, 87 year old Del Martin and 84 year old Phyllis Lyon said "I do" after over 55 years of being together.
Being reasonably young I don't have the opportunity to see many extremely long term queer relationships. This is so amazing and reassuring. Feel-good written all over it.Tuesday, June 17, 2008
