Sam Adams has won the election for mayor of Portland Oregon. He is the firstopenly gay Mayor of a large American city.
It seems like this week the US is trying to play catch-up with Canada. Gay marriage, gay mayors, gayness everywhere!
Congrats Sam! I know nothing about you other than your sexual preference, but congrats all the same!

Not surprised. Portland is as gay as they come. All we need is a lesbian mayor for the other Portland in Maine for the East coast to catch up :)
