Kristen Stewart's SNL Monologue

Kristen Stewart's opening monologue on SNL last night was epic. She addresses Donald Trump and says she is "like, so gay dude". This is a huge change from not so long ago that she couldn't even address the topic. She is now out and proud and letting the world know.

SNL Reminds Americans: Don't Give Up

Kate McKinnon opened SNL singing Leonard Cohen's Halleujah. She's dressed as Hillary Clinton and says she will not give up. It's been a rough week for Americans but there is still hope.

Dyke And Fats SNL Sketch

Could you imagine if this was really a show?  It made me laugh but I wonder if I should actually be offended?  Ah, whatever it's SNL.

Rob Ford Against Rainbow Flag Taken Down

Rob Ford is a huge embarrassment for the city of Toronto and he keeps opening his big mouth.  His latest tirade is about the rainbow flag being flown at city hall and how he wants it ripped down.  I'm not surprised because he has never shown up for a single Pride parade in Toronto during his time in power.  I can not wait until Rob Ford is but a distant memory that we giggle at when we think of poor Toronto. On the other hand, the SNL skits and late night talk show hosts jabs at the moron are pretty hilarious.

Sinead Warns Miley

Sinead O'Connor wrote a letter warning Miley that the music industry is going to pimp her out.  Everyone has jumped on the bandwagon of shaming Miley and I have to say, I don't agree with all the criticism.  I think Miley is not being given enough credit and will come out on top of this.  Not only has her popularity sky rocketed, she has made a name for herself.  I don't think it's a great name to have but I truly think she is the one who will be laughing when this is all said and done. Then again, she could pull a Britney and go totally nuts.  I guess we will just have to wait and see.  Here is a copy of the letter:
I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way 'cool' to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos. It is in fact the case that you will obscure your talent by allowing yourself to be pimped, whether its the music business or yourself doing the pimping. The music business doesn't give a shit about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think its what YOU wanted … and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, 'they' will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone.

Mumford & Sons Kiss

I love Mumford and Sons and their latest video is fantastic.  Standing in for the band are comedians Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman, Will Forte, and Ed Helms, who lip-synch the song with heart. It's not long before the emotion of the song overtakes them, and their tears turn into passionate kiss between Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte.  The boys seem to be reliving their SNL days and it's hilarious.

Daniel Craig on SNL

Saturday Night Live has been hit and miss the last couple of years but the promo they have released for this week’s episode, with cast member Taran Killam and handsome Daniel Craig will make you giggle.  I really wish they would have gone through with the kiss initiation.

Victoria Jackson Trying to Prove She's Not a Hater

Victoria Jackson, former SNL cast member caused some serious controversy last month when she criticized Kurt and Blaine's romance on Glee for being sickening. The loud mouth now thinks she can prove she's not homophobic by participating on Wife Swap with a gay couple. Sorry sweetheart, no one's sold.

SNL : Estro-maxx

I'm not so sure how I feel about this SNL skit. Usually I would find something like this very offensive, but they are known for making fun of everything and everyone. Trans advocates are pushing for an apology from SNL for the skit, saying it mocks the transition of transgender women. I'm on the fence.

Jane Lynch on SNL

I'm not sure how you can screw up a show this badly when you have Jane Lynch as the host. Sadly, Jane was fantastic on SNL but the writing was pathetic. The skits they had her doing were outright weird and creepy and even the amazing Lynch couldn't save the show. At one point she was wearing a bra and paper hat and then ended up totally naked. Normally that wouldn't be a problem but it all seemed very wrong. SNL you need to get your shit together!
