Michael Jackson's Body Guards Say He Wasn't Gay.

Three of Michael Jackson's body guards are trying to sell a book about Jackson and squelch the rumors that he was gay and dating Jason Pfeiffer. The men claim he had two girlfriends near the end. I'm already bored of this, but here's some more money-mongering/fame-whoring exploitation of a dead man's rumored sexuality for you, just in case you hadn't had enough yet.

Arnie Klein Says He Did Not Betray Michael Jackson.

Arnie Klein, Michael Jackson's friend and doctor, talked to TMZ and says that he does not feel that he has betrayed Michael Jackson by backing Jason Pfeiffer's account of their relationship.

Klein told us Saturday, "Was he gay? Yes." He then went on to say his declaration is meant to shoot down rumors that Jackson was a pedophile. And, Klein says, as far as he knows, Jason's alleged two-month relationship is the only gay relationship Jackson ever had.

I don't understand why people feel it would be a betrayal. Even if Jackson really wanted to stay in the closet for ever and ever, there are two important things to remember in this situation: 1) living a double life will catch up with you, especially a double life in the spot light, and 2) he's dead. It can't hurt his career at this point. And there's nothing that could hurt his reputation any more than the things that went on while he was still alive. And really, who the hell would threaten Klein for this sort of thing anyhow? Who really cares so very much about this guy's secret bedroom activities that they need to threaten his old doctor?And who allowed Klein to leave the house in that hat?

Michael Jackson's Boyfriend Tells All.

Jason Pfeiffer, a medical CEO, went public in an interview with Extra, telling people that he was Michael Jackson's lover up until Jackson died. Dr. Arnold Klein, Michael Jackson’s former physician and best friend, confirms this story and for some strange reason has received death threats for doing so. But I'm going to assume those are from Latoya, since she's the only person crazy enough.

"The King of Pop's going to Lick Your Lollipop"

Just when I thought I could stop reading about Michael Jackson, I find I have to post about him again. This time it's more relevant than just another excuse to post about Anderson Cooper, though. Apparently, biographer Ian Halperin has tracked down two of Jackson's former lovers and is going to write a scandalous book about his affairs titled: Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson. The book talks about Jackson dressing as a woman to sneak away with lovers to seedy hotels:

Biographer Ian Halperin claims to have tracked down two of the superstar’s alleged male lovers.

One, who Jacko was “madly in love” with, met him for liaisons at a grungy motel which was all the debt-ridden star could afford.

And one told Halperin: “The very first time he had sex with me he said, 'The King of Pop’s going to lick your lollipop'. I still laugh thinking about that.”

Halperin makes the bombshell allegations in his book Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson, for which he claims to have interviewed many people who told him Jacko was gay.

He said: “Virtually everybody has told me. Even those who are his most ardent defenders, people who maintain he is innocent of the molestation charges, insist that he is homosexually inclined.”

I don't even know where to start. I think the "lollipop" thing has enough jokes behind it that I don't need to go there. (At least not here. Everyone I know in real life is going to have to listen to it.) But the rest of it! Even Halperin saying "homosexually inclined" is making me laugh out loud. Maybe I'll start refering to myself that way. Can one be heterosexually declined? Because that sounds even better. It all makes me feel better about the obvious attempt to link pedophilia with homosexuality, which I'm choosing to ignore in this instance in favour of laughing at the lollipop line.

I Found a Way To Make Michael Jackson Relevant to This Blog

It seemed unnatural not to report on Michael Jackson's death when we heard about it, but he's just not gay. I mean, Heath Ledger played a gay guy on TV, so that was easy. I could even manage a straight gay-icon if MJ was one of those, but, despite makeup and dancing and strange flair, I could never see MJ as even remotely gay. So here's a gay man's childhood memory of Michael Jackson instead. And, mostly, an excuse to watch more Anderson Cooper.
