I'm not sure why Barbara Walters felt the need to ask Chelsea Handler if she was a lesbian.  She very clearly stated that she loved sleeping with men and the awkward part is she kind of pushes the subject.  It's pretty much at the end of the interview.

Oprah Winfrey tells Barbara Walters in a new sappy interview why the constant rumors about her being in a lesbian relationship with her best friend, Gayle King, irritates her. Barbara Walters Ruined Ricky Martin

Barbara Walters single handedly ruined Ricky Martin's career. Or at least that's what she thinks. She told the Toronto Star that her 2000 interview with him - the one where she asked if he was a great big homo and he refused to answer either way - was his downfall and her only regret. She says:

In 2000, I pushed Ricky Martin very hard to admit if he was gay or not, and the way he refused to do it made everyone decide that he was. A lot of people say that destroyed hiscareer, and when I think back on it now I feel it was an inappropriate question.

Now I think she's probably right that his refusing to answer made people believe that he's gay. That and the fact that he's gay. But, really, has any star ever refused to comment on their sexuality either way, then been caught with a person of the opposite sex? Ever? Even a non-celebrity? People just don't hide their heterosexuality. But, hey, if you're a straight celebrity and you're reading my site, try it out. Starting with any and all reality TV stars.
