Harry Connick Jr. plays a straight psychiatrist who falls in love with his male patient in the new redone Broadway play of On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. It's a remake of the classic 1965 musical that became a 1970 Barbra Streisand film. Obviously, the gay element is new but the story line stays the same.

Clay Aiken Brings Home Baby, Does Broadway

Clay Aiken brought his baby home forever ago. Shortly after that he announced that he will be returning to reprise his role as Sir Robin this fall in the Monty Python Spamalot musical which he will be performing from September 19 - January 4.

I can't quite reconcile Clay Aiken and Monty Python. I mean, I haven't seen this musical and I don't know anyone who has, but it just somehow seems wrong to me that he should be in something to do with Monty Python.

Rent Coming to a Theatre Near You - Again

After 12 years, Rent is finally ending it's Broadway run. It's last show will be taped and played in theaters. Sony Pictures will begin to release stage shows, concerts and sporting events to multiplexes. I know someone did this with the opera before, so it must have been a success since Sony is hopping on board.

What I don't understand is the choice to start with this particular show. It was just released as a film in 2005.
