Miley Cyrus hates labels and I don't blame her.  She's been very adamant about not limiting people and forcing them to identify with how they fall on the sexuality spectrum.  I guess she has found where she feels comfortable and told Elle Magazine that she is pansexual. 

I'm very open about it - I'm pansexual. But I’m not in a relationship. I’m 22, I’m going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I’m with. I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn't involve an animal and everyone is of age. Everything that's legal, I'm down with. Yo, I'm down with any adult -- anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me. I don't relate to being boy or girl, and I don't have to have my partner relate to boy or girl.

I honestly don't know how to take Miley Cyrus.  I love how supportive she is in the gay community and her craziness but sometimes I wonder where her motivation comes from.  I hope it's not just for publicity but I have a sneaking suspicion it's the attention she's after.  In the latest issue of Marie Claire, Miley states she is gender fluid and doesn't expect her partners to be labelled either.  Ok, totally agree with her there.  Then she loses me when she says she feels like a 15 year old boy trapped in a 22 year old female body.  Seriously?  I'm not buying that one Miley.

Miley Cyrus is currently touring for her Bangerz Tour and during the show she has a kiss cam that shows people in the audience.  At one of her recent shows she showed a picture of a gay couple kissing and it received huge cheers from her audience.  Despite her crazy behaviour she has always been very supportive of LGBT and kudos for her to standing up for what she believes in.  Although, I'm fairly certain she is bi-sexual, it's awesome regardless.

Sinead Warns Miley

Sinead O'Connor wrote a letter warning Miley that the music industry is going to pimp her out.  Everyone has jumped on the bandwagon of shaming Miley and I have to say, I don't agree with all the criticism.  I think Miley is not being given enough credit and will come out on top of this.  Not only has her popularity sky rocketed, she has made a name for herself.  I don't think it's a great name to have but I truly think she is the one who will be laughing when this is all said and done. Then again, she could pull a Britney and go totally nuts.  I guess we will just have to wait and see.  Here is a copy of the letter:

Lady Gaga Wants Athletes to Boycott Russia

Lady Gaga has always been an advocate for gay rights and she feels very strongly about athletes participating at the Olympics in Sochi Russia.  I couldn't agree more with her last statement about Miley Cyrus.  People need to get a grip and focus on things that are actually affecting people around the world.

I don’t think we should be going to Russia for the winter Olympics, thats my personal opinion. I care so much about these issues and I don’t think we should be bringing any commerce to a country which enforces such a lack of equality and a lack of human rights. A country where so much abuse of youth is happening, how can we bring so much attention to that part of the world and reward them for that? For me it’s shocking, then again everyone thinks Miley Cyrus is shocking and thats the world we live in…

Mile Cyrus has always been a huge supporter of the queer community.  So it's not surprising that now that she has cut her hair short and has been getting lots of lesbian comments thrown at her, she doesn't give a crap.
