Best Music News Ever

 This makes me so happy.  Three amazing artists have decided to put out an album and it can be nothing short of incredible.  Neko Case, KD Lang & Laura Veirs are releasing their album on June 17th and then starting a two month tour.  I am going to do everything I can to see them live.  I encourage you to do the same.  Well, unless it sells out because then I want your tickets.

KD Lang into Music Hall of Fame

Canada had their own music awards, The Junos, this past Sunday.   I have to admit Canada is finally stepping up in the music world and are shipping out some really great music. During this years awards, they acknowledged a Canadian great KD Lang and she was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.  She has not only contributed to the music community but stayed true to herself as an open lesbian.  This was what she had to say:

I think the fact that I’m standing here receiving this award says more about Canada than it does about me. Only in Canada could there be such a freak as k.d. Lang receiving this award.
