As Glee covered Rocky Horror Picture Show, it was not the subject matter that created controversy, but the use of a word. GLAAD was upset for using the word "tranny" on television. But Susan Sarandon says she knows many who were proud to be dubbed "trannies." She also felt that GLAAD was "getting like PETA - way out of control." I have to admit I love that comment and I think her heart is in the right place.

Susan Sarandon Aruges Using Tranny
As Glee covered Rocky Horror Picture Show, it was not the subject matter that created controversy, but the use of a word. GLAAD was upset for using the word "tranny" on television. But Susan Sarandon says she knows many who were proud to be dubbed "trannies." She also felt that GLAAD was "getting like PETA - way out of control." I have to admit I love that comment and I think her heart is in the right place.
