Federal judge Vaughn Walker ruled California's gay marriage ban is unconstitutional, stating that "California has no interest in differentiating between same-sex and opposite-sex couples." However, the news that the ban on gay marriage would be lifted was soon followed by an appeal from opponents of the ruling. This feud most likely will make its way to the U.S. Supreme Court. I think we should have a vote on opposite sex couples.
