Stephen Beatty, born Kathlyn Elizabeth Beatty, is 18 and loking to have gender reassignment surgery. He is in college and has been living as a man for a while now. The National Enquirer says that "Pals describe a stunned Warren as "heartbroken" and "grief-stricken" over Kathlyn's decision." I'm hoping that this part is just gossip, and that her parents and siblings are being supportive of him. I also hope that I can find some pictures of him somewhere. This one is more than a little outdated. We need more visible trans people around. I'd hate to force someone to be visible when they don't want to be, but maybe we'll get lucky and Stephen will make the move himself. But either way, congratulation Stephen and best of luck!
