Fran Drescher has been a vocal supporter of gay rights for many years, but she reveals why her dedication runs deep: Her former husband, to whom she was married for twenty one years, is gay. Drescher says her ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson came out to her after the two split in 1999. I had no idea the two of them had created The Nanny together and I'm trying not to hold that against them.
