According to Jason Akermanis the football world is not ready for openly gay men. He also says he opposes homophobia, kind of a contradiction don't you think? This comes on the heels of two players being offered $150, 000 to be the first to come out. His excuse is there would be two much media attention and it would break down the club. Sounds to me that he's looking at whatever it takes to make his bigot life easier. Idiot.
