People has a two page article on Rachel Maddow and her partner, Susan Mikula, which talks about their daily life. Apparently the couple met in 1999 when Maddow was hired to do some yard work for Mikula as an odd job, which is the absolute last "how we met" story I expected from someone like Maddow. But I suppose the moral of the story is to pick up the sexy young thing raking your leaves. They may just get famous.
